Wheelchair Support for Disabled Citizens from Erciş Municipality

Erciş Municipality continues its efforts to facilitate the lives of disadvantaged groups in line with the understanding of social municipalism. In this context, wheelchair support has been provided to disabled citizens in need.

Within the scope of the work carried out by the Erciş Municipality Social Assistance Department, the economic situations and needs of the citizens who applied were meticulously examined through home visits. As a result of the evaluations made, wheelchairs were delivered to the citizens identified as in need.

The co-chairs of Erciş Municipality also participated in the delivery program and met with disabled citizens and their families. The co-chairs emphasized that improving the living conditions of disadvantaged groups is one of the municipality's primary responsibilities, highlighting that every individual has the right to an equal and accessible life. They expressed their determination to continue social support activities that will facilitate the lives of disabled citizens and stressed that they will always stand by citizens in need with a sense of solidarity and social municipalism.

The citizens and their families who benefited from the support stated that the provided wheelchair support significantly eased their daily lives and thanked Erciş Municipality and the co-chairs for not leaving them alone.
