OUR CO-MAYORS MET WITH THE MUHTARS IN OUR DISTRICT

The meetings of the Strategic Plan studies of Van Metropolitan Municipality for 2025-2029 are continuing at full speed in the districts. Our Co-Mayors, the Department Heads of the Metropolitan Municipality, council members, and many muhtars attended the muhtar meeting held in our district.
Our Co-Mayors stated that they are trying to reach everywhere in our district as part of the preparation phase of the Strategic Plan studies and that they want to listen to all the people, emphasizing that these meetings are of great importance in the formation of the plan.
Expressing that they want to rebuild our city, our Co-Mayors said, “Our city has many problems. There are many issues ranging from roads to infrastructure and water problems. We will try to discuss all these. Many of our department heads are with us today. If you have questions for them, we will try to answer those as well.”
Our Co-Mayors then handed the floor to the muhtars. One by one, the muhtars raised the issues they faced in their neighborhoods and listed their requests to the municipality. The Department Heads, who listened to our Co-Mayors and the muhtars, took notes on the problems experienced and the requests conveyed.
Our Co-Mayors expressed their gratitude to the Department Heads, council members, and muhtars for their participation, stating that they had the opportunity to see the public's problems more closely during the meeting.
