SUPPORT FOR ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIRS FROM ERCIŞ MUNICIPALITY

Erciş Municipality continues its support efforts aimed at facilitating the lives of individuals with disabilities and bedridden patients within the framework of social municipalism. Through the electric wheelchair assistance provided to citizens in need throughout the district, many families are supported in their daily lives. Citizens wishing to benefit from the assistance apply to the Social Assistance Affairs Directorate of Erciş Municipality with the necessary documents. After the applications, home visits are conducted by teams to thoroughly examine the economic situations and needs of the citizens. As a result of the evaluations, electric wheelchair support is provided to citizens identified as in need. The supplied electric wheelchairs were delivered to citizens by the Co-Mayors of Erciş Municipality. During the deliveries, the co-mayors met with citizens and listened to the requests of families in need. The co-mayors stated in their announcement that social support efforts will continue uninterrupted to ensure that individuals with disabilities can participate more actively in social life, lead their daily lives more independently, and facilitate their access to social life. Citizens and their families benefiting from the support expressed that their lives have become easier thanks to the assistance provided and thanked Erciş Municipality.
