Muhtar Group Meeting Held at Erciş Municipality

Erciş Municipality came together with muhtars to strengthen the bond between local government and neighborhoods and to directly address the demands of neighborhood residents. The large-scale meeting held in the municipal meeting hall was attended by the Co-Chairs.

During the meeting, the general situation of the district, ongoing projects, and the priority needs of the neighborhoods were discussed.

Emphasis on Joint Management
In the opening speech of the meeting, the Co-Chairs stated that muhtars serve as a bridge between the municipality and the public, saying, "We aim to carry Erciş into the future together with a participatory and transparent management approach. The opinions of our muhtars, who know the problems of our neighborhoods best, guide us in our service planning," they expressed.

Neighborhood Demands Were Heard
Throughout the meeting, muhtars voiced their demands on issues such as infrastructure works, road construction, environmental cleaning, and social facilities. In the discussion where neighborhood-specific problems were noted one by one, instructions were given to relevant department heads to expedite the solution processes.
