Strong Reaction to the Trustee in the Municipality Council: Şedal and Zeydan are the Will of the People of Van

In the March Council Meeting, our Co-Mayors strongly reacted to the appointment of a trustee to the Metropolitan Municipality, stating, "Our people, who turned the AKP into a signboard party in the March 31 elections, resisted against the trustee for days and continue to resist. Our elected co-mayors Neslihan Şedal and Abdullah Zeydan are the will of the people."

The first session of our regular council meeting in March was held under the chairmanship of our Co-Mayors.

Trustee appointments condemned

Our Co-Mayors condemned the appointment of a trustee to the Van Metropolitan Municipality, stating that on February 15, the will of the people of Van was usurped, and co-mayors Neslihan Şedal and Abdullah Zeydan were removed from office and a trustee was appointed in their place. We do not accept this trustee policy, they said.
