Road Markings Renewed for Pedestrian and Traffic Safety in Erciş

Erciş Municipality is continuing its renewal works on pedestrian crossings, speed bumps, and road lane markings to enhance pedestrian and traffic safety throughout the district.

Erciş Municipality teams are working day and night on the streets and avenues across the district to make transportation safer. Especially in front of schools and at points with heavy vehicle traffic, the works include repainting pedestrian crossings, speed bumps, and road lane markings to make them more visible.

As the road markings fade over time and lose their visibility, the teams are renewing them, and necessary marking works are also being carried out so that drivers can more easily notice pedestrian crossings and speed bumps.

With these works, it is aimed to increase the safety of pedestrians crossing the street, allow drivers to see traffic regulations more clearly, and create a safer transportation environment, especially around school areas.

Erciş Municipality will continue its road safety-related works throughout the district as part of the program. The municipality also called on drivers to pay attention to traffic signs, road markings, pedestrian crossings, and speed limits.
